Gurgaon: A man has been arrested for raping his three-year-old daughter at home after a fight with his wife. The incident took place on October 28 when his wife left his home after a fight.
The police officer Shamsher Singh said after the fight, his wife went to her relative’s home with a younger daughter, a one-year-old. She left the three-year-old old with her father. The accused was drunk at the time of the incident.
The officer stated that the accused raped his three-year-old daughter when he realised that he was left alone with her and when the wife returned home the next morning, she found her daughter “unconscious and the bed sheet stained with blood,” he said.
“The girl was taken to a hospital. Doctors of the hospital confirmed sexual assault after a medical checkup. The survivor’s condition was critical and hence, she was referred to Delhi’s Safdarjung hospital,” he added.
Police registered a case based on the woman’s complaint.
