Manager gives ‘viagra’ to cure headache, female employee lodged complaint

Bangalore: A 22-year-old woman, who has been working in the finance and investment firm in Bengaluru, alleged that her boss, Mallappa, 38, offered her a viagra tablet when she asked his permission to go buy medicine for headache.

In the case of sexual harassment, the victim said that for the past three to four months, she had been regularly harassed by her manager.

According to a report published in the Times of India, Mallapa pulled her dupatta and touch her inappropriately when they were no employees in the office.

The report quote the victim saying, “I was helpless, I had no option and put up with Mallappa’s harassment for months. I knew that no one would believe me if I had complained against him since he was the manager. I would be sacked instead. The accused had also approached her several times for sexual favours. “He even offered to financially support my studies and getting me a good job, but I refused.”
