Hyderabad: Former Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh applauded the developmental and welfare steps taken by Govt. of Telangana. He told this when Dr. K. Keshav Rao, General Secretary of TRS introduced the newly elected members of Rajya to him in the lobby of the Parliament on Thursday.
Dr. Keshav Rao apprised him of the developmental schemes taken up by TS Govt. Dr. Singh expressed his good wishes for the newly formed State of Telangana and told that it is progressing rapidly. He also praised the better governance of TS and expressed the hope that the State would move forward.
Dr. Singh also informed that he is aware of the priorities of TS Govt. and hence he is praising those efforts.
The applause of Dr. Singh is being taken as a testimony of good governance of TRS. Party sources are making a wide publicity of it to counter the propaganda of Congress leaders of Telangana who are engaged in criticizing TS Govt. during their padyatras.
