“Masjid-e-Ek Khana” cordoned, permission for namaz denied

Hyderabad: Police registered two cases in connection with the reconstruction of “Masjid-e-Ek Khana”, Amberpet. Police also cordoned the under construction shed of the masjid and it is not allowing any worshipper to offer namaz in the shed.

Police also registered a case against the Muslim youth who was injured as a result of pelting of stones the previous day.

Preliminary investigations revealed that Naveen Yadav alias French Naveen is allegedly involved in stone pelting.

According to a police complaint lodged by constable Naveen, a case has been registered against both the groups for assaulting police employees. On this complaint, Mohammed Yousuf Khan, Abdul Habeeb Khan, Shaikh Khaleel, Abdul Majeed, Mohammed Raeesuddin, Mohammed Shakir Ahmed, Mohsin, Sameullah, Farooq and Qadeer have been booked in this case.

Another case has been registered against K. Naveen Yadav, Naveen Reddy, Gopal Reddy, Danam Kishore, Ananth Reddy, Ramu, Sunny, Raju, Chinna and Mahesh.

On the complaint lodged by Yousuf Khan who took part in the reconstruction of Masjid, police registered a case against Naveen Yadav and his companions under section 153 (A) of IPC and started investigation.

DCP of East Zone, Mr. Ramesh Reddy told Staff Reporter of Siasat that police registered two cases and investigations are in progress. He also informed that very soon, the miscreants will be arrested.

It may be mentioned that on account of Ramadan, police intensified its patrolling in Amberpet area.
