Hyderabad: Telangana State Minorities Commission has issued a notice to Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) over the demolition of 400-year-old Masjid-e-Ek Khana, Amberpet.
According to the report published in New Indian Express, the commission had asked GHMC to submit a detailed report.
The commission has also issued a separate notice TS Wakf Board in this regard. It asked the Wakf Board, “how GHMC acquired wakf land”.
Another notice was sent to Warangal Police Commissioner seeking a detailed report on the custodial death of Abdul Mannan, a trader.
