Maulana Arshad Madani visits Vienna to attend international peace conference

New Delhi: A conference of religious and cultural leaders is going on in Vienna. The 3-day conference, entitled ‘United against violence in the name of religion’, is being organised by King Abdullah bin Abdul-Aziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID), at Hotel Hilton Stadtpark, Vienna. Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind President and member of Rabta Aalam-e-Islami Maulana Syed Arshad Madani has reached Vienna to attend the programme. Authorities gave him a warm welcome at the airport. Besides Vienna, Maulana Arshad Madani will attend the sessions to be held in Germany, New Zealand and Europe. Maulana Madani is the only person to represent entire sub-continent as the board member of the organisation.

KAICIID is an international organisation, whose headquarter is in Austria’s capital Vienna.

On the occasion, Maulana Madani said we are against any kind of violence in the name of religion. He said religion works for joining the hearts. Hence collective voice should be raised against those who create violence in the world in the name of religion.
