Hyderabad: Sankranthi Festivities have just begun in the city with City Mayor Bonthu Rammohan joining the festival at Sherilingampally here. Along with MLA Arikepudi Gandhi, corporators and other leaders, the Mayor participated in the Sanktranthi festival of flying kites.
The Mayor greeted the gathering in the festivities, including Rangoli at the site. The Mayor said the city was ready for Swatch Sarwekshan program to keep the city clean and green. The GHMC has always been in the forefront of keeping the city clean and urged the people to cooperate for clean environs.
