Measures are taken on war footing to empower minority girls: Naqvi

New Delhi: Union minister for minority affairs Mukhtar Abba Naqvi said that the government is working on war footing to provide basic infrastructure to minority girls in 308 districts. Addressing a national programme of chief secretaries and secretaries of minority affairs department, Naqvi said that under PM’s Jan Vikas Yojna focus is given to education and empowerment of minority girls. Skill development centres are being set up in schools, colleges, polytechnics, hostels and ITIs.

He informed that during the past 4 years Modi government has established 16-degree colleges, constructed 2019 school buildings, 37267 extra classrooms, 1141 hostels, 170 Industrial training centres, 48 polytechnic, 38736 Anganwadi centres, etc.
