Meet Dr. Abdul Qadeer, who has given over 900 MBBS doctors to the country

New Delhi: Dr. Abdul Qadir, the founder of the Shaheen Group of Institutions, is an engineer by profession.

Dr. Qadir started a coaching institute from a small room in Bidar district of Karnataka in 1989 with an aim of “shaping an ideal seat of learning that is accessible to one and all”.  There were only 17 students in the first batch

His efforts today came in front of the world as Shaheen Group of Institutions.

Under the leadership of Abdul Qadir, the institute is running 9 schools, 16 pre-university colleges as well as a degree college with its branches in Mysore and Bangalore, reported Muslim Mirror.

In the year 2012, this institute got admission in Government College, offering 71 students for professional courses. Gradually, this number has reached 89 in 2014, 93 in 2015, 111 in 2015, 158 in 2016, and growing in this episode, it has reached 2000 by 2017.

From year 2008 onwards, 90 percent of students get admission in the professional course, 1764 students receive admission in medical, engineering and other professional government courses.

About 900 students from this institute have set a new record of success by cracking MBBS.

Last year, a student of Shahin Institute had secured the third medical rank in Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET).

It is worth mentioning that Shahin gives admission to 16,000 students of the Group of Institutions in different courses from all over the country. Topping up the institute’s students in various exams is not new. The institute has consistently made its seat in Karnataka’s Common Entertainment Test.

Dr. Qadir, the founder of Shaheen Group of Institutions, has been honored with Gurukul Award, District Level State Award Award, Teaching Ratna Prashasti, Dr. Multaj Khan Award and Karnataka Urdu Academy Award for this “selfless service towards society”.

Dr. Qadir was awarded a Doctorate degree by Gulbarga University in their 33rd Annual Convocation Day, in view of his service in the fields of Education, Arts, Culture and Health Care.
