Jammu: Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti today greeted people of the state on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
In her message, she hoped that the occasion brings along with it an era of peace, prosperity, harmony and progress for the people of the state.
In J&K, the Raksha Bandhan also marks the culmination of the annual Amarnath yatra which is a symbol of centuries’ old communal harmony and brotherhood, Mehbooba said.
She hoped that this spirit of communal harmony continues and further strengthens the bonds of amity among the people of the state.
