Hyderabad: The programme of laying foundation stone for Mission Bhageeratha was scheduled to be held at the Wakf land pertaining to Dargah Hazrath Shahabuddin Suhrawardy in Rallaguda in Shamsabad Mandal. Mr. Prakash Goud, MLA was to lay the foundation stone. After a strong protest by the local Muslims, the programme was cancelled.
A committee of the local Muslims met Mr. Prakash Goud and demanded not to construct anything on the Wakf land Mr. Goud assured that all illegal constructions would be stopped. Telangana State Wakf Board should take immediate action to save this Wakf land.
