“Men in car threatened to kill me,” alleges Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi’s sister

New Delhi: Union minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi’s sister, Farhat Naqvi, today alleged some persons threatened to kill her, police said.

In her complaint to police, Farhat said when she was returning from a meeting at the Parivar Paramarsh Kendra in the Civil Lines area, a car drove up to the rickshaw she was travelling in and stopped it near Chowki Chauraha.

The persons inside the car used “vulgar language” and threatened to kill her, the complaint said.

Police have registered a case against unidentified persons and launched a probe, SP (City) Rohit Singh Sajwan said.

They are also examining the CCTV footage from the area.

Farhat runs an NGO, Mera Haq Foundation, for divorced women. She is a member of the Parivar Paramarsh Kendra, and works to resolve family disputes.
