Mike Tyson to feature in UFC fighting video game

Johannesburg : EA Sports UFC martial arts video game is going to be much more thrilling and awe inspiring, as boxing legend Mike Tyson will be featuring in the game.

Creative Director Brian Hayes said in a statement that the 49-year-old boxer, who is making his octagon debut in the game, is the most devastating fighters of his era and it will be fun to think that if MMA was as popular back when he was competing as it is today, Channel24.reports.

The boxer, who has been a long time fan of MMA, has joined Kazushi Sakuraba and Bas Rutten as playable legends in the game.

EA Sports has announced the news via their Twitter account.

Two versions of the former boxing champion will be available, ‘Iron’ Mike Tyson based on the young vicious version that devastated so many in the eighties and then ‘Legacy’ Mike Tyson based on him towards the end of his amazing career.

It is said that Tyson is set to have the strongest punching power in the game and one can compete in both the heavyweight and light heavyweight divisions using the character. (ANI)
