Hyderabad: MBT had arranged a community awareness program at Nizamabad on 29th October which Amjadullah Khan Khalid was addressing. He heavily criticized MIM and TRS and said that even after the lapse of three years, no promises were fulfilled. He also said that MIM had made many announcements in Nizamabad, namely construction of mini Darussalam and visit to the district every month.
Even the voters were not thanked. He stressed the need to pay attention to the welfare of the people. During his speech, activists started throwing eggs and tomatoes from the building in front of the meeting place. This shattered the audience.
Mr. Khalid told that it was an organized attack for which activists of MIM were sent. He also said that he forgives them because they are innocent. He did not register any complaint.
The situation turned violent when Dy. Mayor and MIM Corporators incited party activists. Police deployed extra force and arrested four youths. It also registered a case.
Police Commissioner of Nizamabad, Mr. Kartikeya is monitoring the situation.
