Ghulam Nabi Azad regrets allying with MIM in past

Mr Azad while addressing media persons at Gandhi Bhavan said, “MIM will extend their support to both the state and Central governments to use their support not for development of the Old City, not for the development of the people or not for the construction of hospitals, but to get support for grabbing land and to escape from the police by showing that the government is with them.”

He further stated “No government will entertain this but they (MIM) utilised the government’s friendship for these illegal things. The boss for BJP, MIM and TRS is in Delhi and he is Prime Minister Narendra Modi. All the three political parties work under his direction.”

To prove his claim he asked why the MIM would field its candidates in constituencies with significant Muslim populations throughout the country when other parties in Kerala and Assam did not do so.
