Ministry of Defence, ASC Units under Jurisdiction Head Quarters 16 Corps (ST) has published recruitment notification for the posts of Industrail Mazdoor, Fire Engine Driver and Fireman.
Applications are invited from eligible male candidates of Indian Nationality for the Group ‘C’ post of Industrial Mazdoor, Fire Engine Driver and Fireman.

Age Limit: 18 to 25 Years for UR / OBC / SC / ST. 10 Years age relaxation for PWD / ESM.
Educational Qualifications:
Fire Engine Driver ->
(1) 10th Standard / Matriculation Pass or equivalent qualification.
(2) Must have atleast 03 years experience of driving heavy vehicles and be in possession of valid driving licence.
(3) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the physical fitness test.
Fireman ->
(1) 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.
(2) Must be conversant with the use and maintenance of all types of extinguishers, hose fittings and fire appliances and equipments fire engines, trailer, pumps, foam branches.
(3) Must be familiar with the use and maintenance of first-aid fire fighting appliances and Trailer Fire Pump.
(4) Must know elementary principles of Fire Fighting methods employed in fighting different types of fire.
(5) Must be conversant with foot and appliance Fire Service Drills and be able to perform the task allotted to the members of fire crew.
(6) Must have served in a recognised Civil or Defence Fire Brigades as Fireman Grade II for a minimum period of three years.
(7) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the physical fitness test.
Industrial Mazdoor ->
(1) 10th Standard pass or equivalent from a recognized Board.
(2) Must be physically fit and capable of performing strenuous duties and must have passed the physical fitness test.
Selection Process: Written Test and Practical Trade Test.
How to Apply: Candidates will forward application their application in prescribed format. The duly completed, properly sealed in an envelope to 898 AT Bn ASC through Registered post/ Speed post. . Candidates are requested to superscribe the words, “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _____” on the top of envelope while sending the application form.
Candidates will enclose self addressed two envelopes, affixing postal stamps of ₹ 25/- alongwith the application required for dispatch of Acknowledgement / Admit Card if screened successfully.
The last date of receipt of application is 30 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News (i.e. Last date will be 19/03/2018).
In case of candidates belonging to Ladakh Sub Division of Jammu & Kashmir State, Lahaul & Spiti District of Pangi Sub Division of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Island & Lakshadweep the last date for receipt of application shall be 37 days from the date of publication of this advertisement.
