New Delhi: A minor fire broke out at a flat of a housing compound of the Air Force Station on Lok Kalyan Marg tonight.
The station is located near the Prime Minister’s residence.
According to the Fire Department, a call was received at 9:12 PM that a fire broke out at the flat.
“Fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The fire was doused within 15 minutes. No casualties or injuries were reported in the incident,” said an official of the department.
The official said that as per initial findings, the incident took place due to short circuit faults in underground cables.
