Minor ‘Muslim’ girl beaten to death for not sharing number

Jaipur: A minor Muslim girl was beaten to death by a group of culprits over not agreeing to share her friend’s number.

The incident is reported from Rajasthan’s Dausa District when the victim a class 10th student was returning back home from her school, DC reported.

According to initial reports, Rukhsar was allegedly stopped by Ganpat, Nemi, Kishan, Ravi and others on her way back to home and demanded her friend’s number, on refusal of which the men started beating her after which she fell on to the ground.

The girl’s parents who reached the spot on being informed rushed her to the hospital where the doctors declared her dead.

Now the mother of the victim has filed a complaint against the miscreants responsible for the death of the girl.

The angry group of people reached the hospital and surrounded the two youngsters accusing them of killing the girl but the police present in the hospital escorted the boys safely to the police station.

Superintendent of police, Dausa district, Chunaram Jat said, so far, no arrests have been made due to the ongoing investigation.

“If the girl was beaten there must be some signs of injury. We are trying to find out what exactly caused her death. Her viscera has been sent to FSL (Forensic Science Lab) to ascertain if there was poison or any other substance in her body,” the SP said.
