Srinagar: A girl has been raped in Jammu and Kashmir’s Badgam district, police said on Monday.
The girl’s father lodged an FIR on Monday, accusing Muhammad Maqbool Rather of raping his minor daughter.
“The medical examination of the victim has established that she has been raped. We have registered a case under relevant sections of law. The accused is still at large and we have launched a manhunt to arrest him,” a police officer said.
