Muzaffarnagar: A 14-year-old boy was reportedly subjected to sodomy by Dhaba owner where the boy started working to earn some money after he and his friends ran out of money, PTI reported.
According to the Police, the victim and his friends went to Haridwar during the Kanwar Yatra and unfortunately, the group ran out of money on their way back home for which they decided to work at a Dhaba to arrange money for their return.
Circle Officer Rizwan Ahmad said the incident took place on Friday after which the victim approached the Police and filed a complaint against the Dhaba owner.
The officer said the accused has been arrested and that the accused reportedly threatened the victim with dire consequences if he had reported the matter.
The act of sodomy was confirmed by the medical report and the accused have been booked under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 377 (unnatural offences) and 506 (criminal intimidation), and provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
