New Delhi: Delhi Minority Commission issued a notice to Deputy Commissioner of Police Shahdara in connection with the distribution of 371 trishuls in a programme held by United Hindu Front at Gokulpur, East Godavari on July 15. The commission directed the DCP to probe into the matter and take legal action while submitting the report to the Commission.
It must be noted that the same organisation had distributed 281 trishuls on July 1, at Sonia Vihar area. As per its announcement, the organisation has a target of distributing 1 lakh trishuls. All this is done on public road and government land. According to sources provocative speeches are made during the programme inciting hate and violence.
