Mirchowk Murder: Police arrests three, one accused still at large

Hyderabad: Three more accused in connection with the brutal Nayapul auto driver’s murder case have been arrested said Mirchowk Police.

It may be recalled that victim, Mohammed Shakeer, an auto driver was brutally hacked to death on road by another auto driver, Shaik Khaja Hussain, on November 28.

The accused Khaja was arrested on the same day and sent to judicial remand while his other associates Baba of Vanastalipuram, Md Ayub of Saroor Nagar and Md Aleem of Malakpet were arrested on Friday.

According to the police, another accused Md Imtiyaz is absconding.

Jealousy was behind accused hacking the victim to death as he the latter’s business income doubled despite having only 5 autos and the accused have 10 autos.

Another absconding accused Md Imtiyaz instigated Khaja to kill Shakeer when he learned about the argument.

He even offered Khaja an auto to finish the job. Following the instigation, and an auto offer, Khaja decided to meet Shakeer.

The accused then called him at Nayapul auto adda on November 28 and soon after an argument that brewed between them, he hacked him to death, while the other accused kept a watch on the surroundings.
