Misty Wednesday morning in Delhi, 10 trains cancelled

New Delhi: It was a misty Wednesday morning here in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 13.3 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season’s average, the weather office said.

Around 10 trains were cancelled, 20 delayed, and at least five rescheduled due to fog in several parts of northern India.

“There was mist in the morning. The sky is likely to remain partly cloudy with the maximum temperature likely to hover around 22 degrees Celsius,” an India Meteorological Department official told IANS.

The humidity at 8.30 a.m. was recorded at 87 per cent .

Tuesday’s minimum temperature was recorded at 13.7 degrees Celsius, five notch below the season’s average, and the maximum temperature settled at 23.7 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season’s average.
