Modi’s ‘na khayenge, na khane denge’ slogan has changed in Jay Shah’s case: Lalu Prasad

Patna: Slamming Prime Minister Modi’s slogan against bribery, ‘Na khayenge na Kahne denge’, Lalu Prasad today said that PM’s stance has changed in the case of BJP President, Amit Shah’s son.

Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief also criticised PM Modi’s silence over a probe in the matter of Jay Shah’s alleged jump of 16,000 percent in business.

“Why are the Enforcement Directorate and income tax not sending Jay Shah to the jail? Who is Amit Shah to give a clean chit to his son? Why has no action been taken against Jay Shah when my family members are being repeatedly served notices? It appears that PM’s na khayenge, na khana denge slogan has changed in Jay Shah’s case,” Lalu asked, as per a report by India Today.

Speaking to the media, the RJD chief also attacked Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s visit to Ayodhya to celebrate Diwali, stating that Adityanath is more concerned with celebrating Diwali than looking into medical condition in his state.

Referring to the Gorakhpur hospital’s tragedy of dying children, Lalu said: “Rather than looking into the medical care and development of the state, Adityanath is concerned about going to Ayodhya to celebrate Diwali. His state has already seen the loss of children in the hospital only because of their carelessness.”
