Hyderabad: A meeting of State branch of All Indian Muslim Majlis-e-Mushawirat was held at Madina Education Center. It was decided to organize “Muslim-Dalit Dialogue” at All India Level on 18th and 19th November 2017 in Hyderabad. Mr. Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily was nominated as its convener. A public meeting will also be organized on 19th November.
In the meeting, Mufti Syed Sadiq Mohiuddin Faheem was unanimously elected as patron. An adhoc body of the State was also formed. Mr. K. M. Arifuddin was nominated as President. Mr. Mohammed Rishaduddin (Working President), Zaheeruddin Ali Khan (Managing Editor of Siasat Urdu Daily), Dr. Ali Ashraf Jaisi (Associate Professor of Arabic, MANUU), Mr. Ziauddin Nayyar (Tameer-e-Millat), Maulana Abdul Qayum (Jamiat-e-Ahl-e-Hadith), Ms. Nasira Khanam (Jamaat-e-Islami), Ms. Jalisa (Advocate) and Ms. Akheela Khamoshi were nominated as Vice Presidents.
The other members are: Mr. Obeidullah Sharif Zaki (Jamaat-e-Islami), Dr. Siraj ur Rahman ( Khateeb, Paigah Masjid) etc.
Secretary has to be nominated.
The meeting was presided over by Mr. K.M. Arifuddin. Mr. Rishaduddin highlighted the objectives of the meeting. Dr. Aleem Ashraf and Mr. Zaiuddin Naiyar expressed their views. Mr. Hamid Mohammed Khan, Amer of Jamaat-e-Islami placed his suggestion before the members. The meeting was conducted by Mr. Obaidullah Shareef. It was attended by representatives of various organizations including Christians.
