MRPS slams govt on reservation allocation in GHMC poll

Telangana State Madiga Rajyadhikara Porata Samithi president Thimana Naveen Raju has urged all political parties to allot 10 seats to STs, 20 seats to SCs, 50 seats to BCs and 50 seats to women in the GHMC elections.

Speaking to mediapersons here on Saturday, Thimana Naveen Raju said the Telangana Rashta Samithi (TRS) was playing a “political game” in the allocation of reservations in the GHMC elections. He criticized the State government regarding allocation of reservations in the GHMC elections. He appealed to all political parties to respond on the issues of reservations in the GHMC elections. He also urged all political parties not to give tickets to defectors, realtors, criminals and corrupt political leaders. Ridiculing TRS leaders’ claim that they would win 100 plus out of 150 seats in the GHMC elections, he reminded that Hyderabad people were intelligent and no one can mislead them in elections.

MRPS leaders Kaki Rajeswara Rao, Kathi Sudhakar, Pothuraju Prasad, Golipali Dayakar Rao and others were present. (NSS)
