New Delhi : Eleven prison personnel will receive Correctional Service medals on the occasion of Republic Day, 2016.
An official release said President Pranab Mukherjee has approved Correctional Service Medals for Distinguished Service to three personnel and Correctional Service Medals for Meritorius Service for eight others.
Correctional Service Medals for Distinguished Service have been given to the following:
Santosh Rajaram Vinchurkar, Superintendent, District Jail, Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh.
Rajendra Tanbaji Dhamne, Deputy Inspector General of Prison, Central Region, Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
Rabindra Nath Barik, Assistant Jailor, Sub Jail, Jagatsinghpur, Odisha.
Correctional Service Medal for Meritorious Service have been given to the following.
