To ease parking problems and traffic chaos in the city, a Multi-Level parking slot will be constructed at Old Jail Khana place under Monda market area.
This was informed by Animal Husbandry minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav. He made a visit to the jail khana site, Monda market and Fathe Nagar bridge and other places. Reacting on the issues the minister directed the officials to clear debris and garbage from Ramgopalpet Nala and other areas and take steps for increasing the height of its wall. The multi level parking lot will be constructed in 4000 sq ft area by GHMC under PPP model, he said.
Srinivas Yadav also said that Rs 50 cr will be spent for expansion of Fathe Nagar bridge to 900 meters and three lines and hold talks with Railway officials on railway tracks nearby. Mayor B Rammohan said that compensation to the owners for losing houses will be paid as part of the bridge expansion. The official team also made a visit to Begumpet Nala wherein industrial effluents from Jeedimetla Chemical factories join. (NSS)
