BJP workers mercilessly thrash Muslim Youth for speaking on lack of jobs

Lucknow: People raising their voices against system or government’s failure are being forcefully silenced, beaten up, thrasher by ruling party workers, supporters bringing in a trend of Muscle power in the nation.

A young Muslim student, who spoke about the lack of jobs to a television reporter, was brutally thrashed by Bharatiya Janata Party supporters in Uttar Pradesh’s Muzaffarnagar district, News18 reports.

The young student identified as Adnan, a local was thrashed for speaking up when he saw a television crew conducting an interactive session with youngsters and decided to participate.

When the journalist asked Adnan about the changes brought by the BJP government after coming to power, Adnan replied: “nothing much has changed.”

When Adnan said nothing big has changed ever since BJP came to power as employment opportunities have dropped drastically, the condition of road that have not improved.

As soon as his statement was finished, a group of BJP supporters present on the spot pounced at him thrashed him mercilessly.

“A terrorist”, yelled one of the angry supporters as others continued beating Adnan black and blue.

“There was an interview going on so I went ahead to be a part of it. As soon as I said that there is lack of jobs and development in the country, the BJP workers started beating me up and called me terrorist. I was beaten up as I am a Muslim and spoke against the BJP. I was even called an anti-national. I want strict action against the culprits.”

According to Muzaffarnagar Police, the miscreants have not been identified yet but the police has assured strict action against them

Reacting to the incident, Samajwadi Party spokesperson Sunil Singh Sajan said, “The current law and order situation in the state is not hidden from anyone. Anyone who dares to speak the truth is termed an ‘anti-national’ by the goons of BJP. I condemn this incident and demand immediate and strict action against the culprits.”
