Lucknow: Maulana Salman Nadwi who was expelled from All India Muslim Personal Law Board for presenting out-of-court settlement for Babri Masjid issue, made another attack on the AIMPLB, saying that it is dancing to the tune of Asad Owaisi. He further said that the Board is dominated by extremists, while the Ulama and elders remain silent.

It was the same during the recent meeting in Hyderabad. I was not allowed to put forth my stand, while Maulana Arshad Madani, Maulana Syed Mohammed Rabey Hasni Nadwi also remained silent. Maulana Kalbe Sadiq didn’t turn up. People like Kamal Farooqui, Qasim Rasool Ilyas and Asaduddin Owaisi only spoke during the meeting, said Maulana Salman Nadwi.

He said proposed meeting with Sri Sri and other sadhus will be held on February 20 but no final decision has been taken. He said he wants to announce the good news before Holi. He said when there is a provision to shift masjid in Hanbali Maslak (school of thought) then why such hue & cry. Why a way should not be sought which can create peace and brotherhood in the country.

Maulana said there was enough bloodshed on the issue, the case is pending for 25 years, how long will it continue?

He further said Sri Sri Ravi Shankar agreed to all the three conditions including perpetrators of the demolition of Babri Masjid should be punished, instead of 70 Bigha land Muslims would get 140 Bigha land and no other Muslim place of worship or madaris will be targeted in any part of the country after shifting of Babri Masjid.
