New Delhi: A wave of strong anger prevails across the country against Aaj Tak news channel anchor Rohit Sardana for making derogatory remarks against Ummul Momineen Hazrat Ayesha (RAA), Hazrat Fatima (RAA) and Hazrat Maryam (AS) mother of Hazrat Esa (AS). It is being demanded that the anchor who committed blasphemy for cheap publicity should be arrested immediately so that peace could be restored in the country.
Reacting upon this Congress leader Hasan Ahmed said such actions will not be tolerated at any cost. Muslims highly respect the loving daughter and wife of Holy Prophet (SAW) Bibi Fatima & Hazrat Aisha (RAA) as well as Bibi Maryam (AS). He said Rohit Sardana is trying to divide the people on communal basis. Hence he should be booked as anti-national.
Chairman All India Muslim Ekta Committee Haji Ikram Hasan said Rohit Sardana is a communal man. As long as he was in Zee News he fanned the fire of communalism and now he has joined Aaj Tak, again he is building wall of hatred. Now he has resorted to hurt Muslim sentiments. He asked Muslims to boycott Aaj Tak channel and demanded that the Channel owner should also suspend him.
Imam and khateeb of Mustafa Jama Masjid, Maulana Mohammed Asif Raza said Sardana is licking the boots of party having RSS ideology. Government should immediately arrest him or else Muslims would take to streets.
Imam and Khateeb of Jama Masjid Saleempur, Maulana Husain Ahmed Qasmi expressed strong anger and said Muslims could tolerate anything except blasphemy against Holy personalities of Islam. Rohit has not only badly hurt Muslim sentiments but also tarnished the image of media. He should be arrested.
Secretary of Madrasa Rahe-Najat Qari Anwar Jamai said if government does not arrest Rohit, government itself would be responsible for Muslims retaliation.
Principal Madrasa Faiz-e-Rasool, Maulana Ghulam Rabbani Siraji asked the Muslims who take part in the debates aired by the said channel, to boycott the channel in order to mount pressure on it.
