Muslim youths are being misled, says Imam of Kabah

Islamabad: Imam of Kabah, Abdullah Awad Al Juhany while addressing a seminar on “Contemporary Challenges for the Youths of Muslim Ummah” held under the auspices of International Islamic University, Islamabad, Pakistan told that many forces are misleading the Muslim youths to deviate them from the path of Islam.

He further told that a center has been established in Saudi Arabia by investing 100 million Saudi Riyals to bring the Muslim youths closer to Islam and to refrain them from deviating.

Saudi Ambassador for Pakistan, Mr. Saeed al-Maliki, Peer Nurul Haq Quadri, Minister for Religious Affairs, Raja Zafarul Haq, leader of opposition and others addressed the seminar.

The Imam of Kabah told that the youths should get guidance from the Quran since they have the potential to change society. In the youth age, they should perform worship which is very important.

Peer Nurul Haq Qadri told that Saudi Arabia has spiritual relations with Pakistan. These relationships are getting strengthened day-by-day. Muslims are not getting trained through masajid. Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) stressed the need to impart training to the youths.

Opposition leader, Raja Zafarul Haq told that there is a challenge of Islamophobia which youths can counter by following Quran and Sunnah.

Quoting noted Urdu Poet, Dr. Iqbal, he said that Dr. Iqbal had also made the youths the focus of his poetry.

Chairman of Islamic council, Dr. Qibla Ayaz told that the youths of the entire world are facing anarchy. Many persons used to go to Saudi Arabia for jobs but the situation has changed now.

He stressed the need for the universities to mould the character of the youths.
