Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal said Muslims neither have to get scared nor become vote bank. Muslims must rely upon education, have faith in themselves and make a new India, where there is no mob violence, no one is big or small; an India which AAP has dreamt of. An India where there will be no riots in the name of nationality. He claimed that Delhi has been the safest place during the past four years.
Speaking to the group editor of Roznama Rashtriya Sahara Musharraf Aalam Zauqi, Kejriwal said Muslims need not worry about Aligarh Muslim University or Jamia Millia Islamia. He will not let anything happen to such institutions in Delhi.
On the matter of Ghata masjid, Kejriwal announced to begin its reconstruction. He said he is with Muslims for the protection of their institutions.
Claiming that Congress made Muslims its vote bank and BJP hated them, Kejriwal said Muslims must identify their real sympathizer.
