Kerala: In yet another surprising incident a 61-year-old Malayalam actress has lodged a rape against a 37-year-old man.
The actress is known for her role in a comic television serial filed the complaint with Kerala Police alleging the accused had befriended her over the phone and also lured her by gifting her a smartphone. He also started to threaten and continually exploit her sexually on multiple occasions.
The accused has not only raped her at a hotel room in Thottapally but has also made a video of the crime using his smartphone and later sent it to her husband, neighbours and close family members the actress alleged.
The region police have lodged the FIR in Kayamkulam.
An investigation into case has begun and it has been known the accused is currently working in abroad.
A video showing the actress sharing intimate moments with the accused was widely shared on social media and now people are speculating the complaint filed by the victim is fabricated one and that she equally participated in the video.
Now social media users are alleging men are falling prey to even consensual sexual encounters.
The social media users are of the opinion that Police should initiate action against the young man for leaking the video but not on charges of rape and action should be initiated against the actress for lodging a false rape complaint.
