Nagam raps CM for graft in projects; dubs TRS as Telangana Razakar Samaithi

Hyderabad: Telangana BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy today alleged that those who were questioning about corrupt activities of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao in the execution of irrigation projects were being attacked at the instance of the latter. Is it the style of functioning of the TRS government?, he asked.
Addressing the media at the BJP State office at Nampally here on Sunday, Dr Nagam quipped that TRS has become Telangana Razakar Samithi. In an indirect reference to Chief Minister KCR, Nagam said, “When we raised voice on behalf of the people of Telangana, we were being attacked by the alleged TRS supporters. These dastardly attacks would not deter us from raising our voice”.
Nagam alleged that of the Rs 80,000-crore works, Rs 75,000 crore worth works was given to those who belonged to Andhra region. “We only raised corruption in the execution of the projects but never opposed the projects, he clarified. He also warned that if the State government failed to provide him adequate security, he would approach the Centre. He also disclosed that he would meet the Governor, Chief Secretary and DGP on Monday in this regard. (NSS)
