Naidu agreed to lead all-party team to Delhi on BC reservation: Krishnaiah

LB Nagar MLA and BC Welfare Association president R Krishnaiah today called on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP national president N Chandarbabu Naidu here and submitted a memorandum on BCs’ problems.

Speaking on the occasion, Krishnaiah said he urged Chandrababu Naidu to introduce welfare schemes for BCs in Andhra Pradesh as Telangana State government was introducing several welfare schemes. He said there was a need to set up BC Sub-Plan with Rs 20,000 crore and demanded that the governments have to put their efforts to provide 50 percent reservations to BCs in the Legislative bodies. He also said Chandrababu Naidu has agreed to lead an all-party delegation to Delhi on BCs’ reservations after taking an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. (NSS)
