Naidu announces free boarding & transport facilities to HC judges, staff

Amravati: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday announced that his government would provide free boarding and transport facilities to all the employees of AP High Court in the State. He said the construction of the High Court was an important milestone in the history of the State.

Speaking after inaugurating temporary High Court building complex in the State capital today, Naidu said the justice city was one of the nine cities being built by the State government in the capital city. He said they would provide all facilities like residential quarters for the judges and staff of the High Court. Noting that there were a total of 1.71 lakh cases pending at the High Court, he said the State government would rope in modern technology to decrease the total number of pending cases. He also thanked the people of the capital city for voluntarily giving 34,000 acres of land for the construction of the capital city.
