Narrow escape for Kanhaiya Kumar as right wing activists attack his car

Indore: On Wednesday, Kanhaiya Kumar, student leader had a narrow escaped when right wing activists pelted stones at his car. This incident took place when he was returning from a function.

According to the news published in TOI, speaking to newsmen, Kanhaiya Kumar said that during the attack which took place at around 9:30 p.m., left-side windscreen broke.  No one was injured in the attack, he added.

During the attack, he was accompanied by Dr. Rai.

It may be mentioned that few hours before the attack, right wing activists staged a protest in front of Anand Mohan Mathur Auditorium where Kanhaiya Kumar delivered a speech. They accused him of giving anti-national statements and claimed that they are the members of Bharat Swabhiman Manch and Hindu Rashtrawadi Sangathan. To disperse the crowd, police used mild force.

Talking about the incident, police claimed that so far no complaint is lodged and action would be taken after receiving it.
