Narsimhan, Chandrababu felicitate President

President Ramnath Kovind was accorded a grand welcome and civic felicitation at SV Arts College in Tirupati. Governor ESL Narsimhan and Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu felicitated the President on the college campus.

 The President participated in development programs by launching Padmavathi Medical College Hospital and laid foundation for Ambedkar Skill Development Center.

Speaking on the occasion, the President said his second official tour was to Tirupati after making first tour to Jammu Kashmir. Andhra Pradesh has offered stalwarts like PV Narsimha Rao and NT Rama Rao to the nation, he said. Ramnath also appreciated Chandrababu Naidu for distributing land to Dalits and hoped that Andhra Pradesh would develop rapidly under his leadership. Youth will get jobs through Skill Development Center.

The Governor said the President is noted for believing in serving humanity is serving God. “We are lucky to felicitate him and Lord Venkateshwara may bless the President a very long life”, he added. Chandrababu also showered praises on the President by saying that he was into a poor family. Kovind faced difficulties during his childhood and became Supreme Court lawyer later. He served the nation in various capacities and rose to become the President of the country and will do justice to the top constitutional post, Chandrababu said. Naidu appealed to youth to emulate Kovind to achieve goals. (NSS)
