Nayini visits Tirumala, slams Chandrababu

Hyderabad: Former Home Minister from Telangana State Nayini Narsimha Reddy today worshipped Lord Venkateshwara at Tirumala. On his arrival, officials and priests of the temple accorded him traditional welcome. During VIP break, the TTD officials provided him darshan of the presiding deity and Veda pundits blessed him and gave theertha prasadams at Ranganayakula mandapam.

Talking to mediapersons later, the former minister said he prayed to God to bless the two Telugu States to develop gradually. “Let the Telugu people live in peace and brotherhood and achieve growth”, he added. Nayini also said it was not wrong that four of the Congress MLCs joining the TRS. The Congress MLCs’ admission to ruling party was not against the Constitution and the process was completed as per the norms, he maintained.

He also took exception to TDP chief and AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for talking against KCR and Telangana Government. “Naidu should focus on governance instead of meddling with Telangana State affairs”, he suggested and warned the TDP chief that the TRS leadership will intervene in AP politics.
