NCC cadets took out anti-drug rallies at various places of Telangana state to mark the International Day against Drug Abuse on Sunday. With the help of placards they tried to create awareness on the ill-effects of drug abuse and their impact on society.
Rallies were organised at various places of Hyderabad including Barkatpura. MLC N Ramachandra Rao (BJP) urged the people to join the struggle against eradication of deadly evil. He further said that police has done a good job by taking action against drug addicts. The need of the hour is to strictly enforce the Anti-Drug Abuse Act.
