NEET deadline extended, Upper age limit for entrance extended to 25

New Delhi: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 the last date for filing applications has been extended until December 7 against the previous November 30 last date.

The entrance test is slated for May 5, 2019.

The National Testing Agency, for persons with disabilities, said students may fill the application form on the basis of draft guidelines on the Medical Council of India website.

Students are also permitted to make corrections between January 14 and January 31, 2019 said NTA, after the time lapse no corrections will be allowed under any circumstances, they added.

The NTA also permitted students above the age of 25 to take NEET undergraduate examinations.

The NTA has now been given the task of conducting NEET from CBSE across India.

NEET is an entrance exam for students aspiring to get admissions into medical and dental colleges throughout India.

However, this does not apply to institutions established through an Act of Parliament such as AIIMS and JIPMER, Puducherry, who conduct their own exams.
