Netas, now in temple run mode

SANGAREDDY: Normally the candidates visit before filing nomination or before going polling station. But this time their supporters are also performing poojas, padayatras, jala deekshas and participating in religious ceremonies.

On Tuesday, supporters of TRS chief K Chandrasekhar Rao from Erravelli village led a 3 KM long padayatra to wish Rao to be re-elected from Gajwel. At another place, Rao’s supporters walked from Komaravelli Mallanna temple to Konda Pochamma temple.

Only TRS chief is not with religious followers. A leader from Sangareddy recently went Vijayawada to Andhra Pradesh to pray for TRS Sangareddy candidate. He also performed pooja at the famous Kethaki Sanghameshwara temple.

Even Congress leaders have ‘devotional’ supporters. The followers of party leader Jagga Reddy performed high profile poojas in Sadasivapet, praying for Reddy’s win in Sangareddy.
