New Zealand defeat, Pakistan by 95 runs to win T20 series

WELLINGTON: New Zealand have decimated Pakistan by 95 runs in Wellington to seal a 2-1 Twenty20 series victory and making an imposing 196 before
rolling Pakistan for 101 in the 17th over.

Corey Anderson beat the best 82 not out. He went to the crease with New Zealand at 62-2 after seven overs. He lashed out himself  at 36 off 23 balls.

Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson again dominated. Guptill was first to go for 42 off just 19 balls, with Williamson adding 33 before he fell to Wahab Riaz .

Mohammad Hafeez (2) lost on the first ball of the second over and in the end only two
players made it into double figures.

Sarfraz Ahmed  with 41 off 36 balls with Pakistan all out for 101 in the 17th over. Adam Milne and Grant Elliott took three wickets each for New Zealand.

New Zealand and Pakistan play the first of three one-day internationals in Wellington on Monday.
