Essential Qualifications:

Special Education Teacher –> |
(1) (a) Graduate and Diploma in Special Education (MR) or equivalent or (b) B.Ed. in Special Education (MR) or (c) BRS(MR) with specialization in Special Education. (2) RCI registration as professional in Special Education (MR). |

Home Visitor / Teacher –> |
(1) Degree from a recognized University. (2) Master’s Degree / Post Graduate in Social Work. |

Junior Special Education Teacher –> |
(1) (a) Graduate and Diploma in Special Education (MR) or equivalent with two years experience of working with children with mental retardation. OR (b) B.Ed. in Special Education (MR) OR (c) BRS(MR) with specialization in Special Education. (2) RCI registration as personnel/ professional in Special Education (MR). |

(1) S.S.L.C./ Matriculation or equivalent examination. (2) Typewriting (English) 40 w.p.m. (3) Shorthand (English) 100 w.p.m. |
Application Fee: A Non-refundable fee in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn on any Nationalized Bank in favour of Director, NIEPID should be submitted along with the application.
