Nikon D850 with 45.7-megapixel full-frame to be launched in India

New Delhi: The successor of the full-frame FX-format D810, Nikon D850, to be launched in India soon.

The camera was launched for the global market earlier and comes with a price of approx. Rs 2,10,850. The company has started sending out media invites for the launch event, which is scheduled to take place on September 4 in New Delhi.

As per a report by The Mobile Indian, the camera comes loaded with a 45.7-megapixel CMOS sensor along with Expeed 5 image-processing engine. It has an ISO sensitivity range from ISO 64 to 25600, which is expandable from Lo 1 (ISO 32) to Hi 2 (ISO 102400).

The device comes with 4K UHD support and 8K time-lapse movie production. The camera also allows RAW batch processing, exposure metering range expansion, and a peaking function that enables accurate manual focusing.

The DSLR has a 153-point AF system and 99 cross sensors for continuous shooting. The shooting speed is available 7fps and 9fps. There is a 3.2-inch touchscreen LCD monitor with 2359k-dot resolution. Further, the button illumination is also there, which helps shooting in dark situations.

The focus shift capability further allows the camera to automatically take up to 300 shots while moving focus position from the starting point to infinity.

The company has also unveiled be it from the latest AF-S NIKKOR 105mm f/1.4E ED, or the AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED for wide-angle landscapes, or the AF-S NIKKOR 24-120mm f/4G ED VR.
