No effect of TDP withdrawal from NDA: BJP

BJP national general secretary Arun Singh today said there would be no effect with the announcement of TDP withdrawal from the NDA.

Addressing the State party office-bearers’ meeting held here on Friday, Singh, who is on a two-day visit of Telangana State, there would be no effect of TDP pullout from the NDA. He hoped that the BJP would wrest power in Telangana in 2019 elections. The meeting was attended by BJP State office-bearers, OBC morcha, media committee, IT and social media members. He also said the BJP would also capture power in Karnataka like it wrested power in Tripura where BJP has no organisational strength, Singh said, adding that there would be a change in political scenario in the southern States after Karnataka State elections.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has taken up various welfare and development programs, which were acknowledge by the people, who believed that the growth of the country would be possible under the leadership of Modi, Singh said. Singh will visit Khammam, Warangal rural on Saturday and discuss steps how to strengthen the party at booth level.
Besides State party president Dr K Laxman, BJP floor leader G Kishan Reddy, MLC N Ramchander Rao, MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy, former MLA Baddam Balreddy, State general secretaries Chinta Sambamurthy, Premender Reddy, G Manohar Reddy and Mantri Srinivas attended the meeting. (NSS)
