No plans to increase power tariff: AP CM

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu said that his government has no plans to increase the power tariff.

Greeting the people on the occasion of Dussehra festival through an open letter, Chandrababu Naidu said that the second phase of reforms in energy sector has brought revolutionary changes. He hoped that uninterrupted power supply would lead to revival of several close industries. He said that the Smart Grid System would become a model at the international level.

Naidu said that the works on the new capital Amaravati were going on at a fast pace. He also claimed that the water from Polavaram project would be supplied to various areas through gravity by 2019. (INN)
