No wrong truck with Congress: Asserts Chandrababu

Hyderabad: Telugu Desam party president and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu today criticized his Telangana counterpart K Chandrashekhar Rao for taking up national tour only to confuse the people. He also said there was nothing wrong in having a truck with the Congress as the BJP was not cooperating for Andhra Pradesh development.
Talking to mediapersons in Amaravathi today, Chandrababu Naidu ridiculed KCR’s comment of giving a return gift after Assembly polls in Telangana. Naidu said KCR’s comment of meddling in AP politics was due to his campaign in support of the Congress-led grand alliance. The TDP chief said KCR was planning federal front only to confuse all. He also clarified that he has to extend support to the Congress to achieve his State’s demands denied by the BJP regime at the Centre.

Naidu said the voting pattern was changed in Telangana Assembly polls after he started campaigning on behalf of the Congress-led alliance. The people are not trusting the EVMs as there was a lot of difference in votes polled and counting of votes, he said. The TD chief said the people should be wary of EVMs as voting is our primary right.
Naidu also expressed doubts at the VVPATs functioning as there was no clarity as to whom a voter cast his vote. He supported the previous practice of using ballot papers in the elections rather than the EVMs and VVPATs.

He also opined that some significant changes will be seen in the national politics and people have to be prepared mentally for that. The Chief Minister also expressed his displeasure towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not doing anything for the residual State and going to visit the State on January 6. How Modi would come to our State without doing any thing and denying special status category to AP, he asked.
