None can escape from Jayaram murder case: DCP Srinivas

Hyderabad: City West Zone Deputy Commissioner of Police A R Srinivas today said they have examined all the documents sent by the Andhra Pradesh government to Telangana State relating to the recent gory murder of NRI businessman Chigurupati Jayaram in the city.

Speaking to mediapersons here today, DCP Srinivas said they were thoroughly studying the investigative reports sent by the AP government and also the contents in the petition submitted by deceased’s wife Padmashri. He said they will take the accused Rakesh Reddy into the custody at the earliest. He also said they were consulting legal experts in the presence of defence lawyers, on how to go ahead as per law in the sensational case.

DCP Srinivas also disclosed that they were taking effective steps to take accused Rakesh Reddy and his accomplice Srinivas Rao into custody. Stating that they have thoroughly examined the contents in Padmashri’s petition, the DCP made it clear that all those involved in Jayaram’s murder would not escape from the long hands of the law. He also said Shikha Chowdary, niece of deceased Jayaram, would be interrogated on all angles.
